Surfer Girl FUN Day

Two days of FUN, LAUGHTER, and EXCITEMENT was had by all involved in the 1st ever Surfer Girl FUN Day at Global Jaya International School, Jakarta :-)

The day consisted of Dance – Hip Hop and Latin, Yoga, and Volleyball, followed by an Empowerment Chat by the Surfer Girl instructors carrying the message of “Chase your DREAMS!”

The girls had an absolute blast!! :-) What better way could there be to spend the last few days of school before the holidays, participating in such FUN activities…

Fun, hilarious, exciting, awesome were all words the girls used to describe the day… “We won great Surfer Girl prizes for having fun”, and “It’s perfect, all our assessment is over and the Surfer Girl Fun Day is a great way for us to relax and have heaps of fun with our friend” were a few comments from the girls.

The teachers even had a great time! :-) With a few ideas finding their way into the teachers back pocket. Seeing the way the Surfer Girl instructors go the girls actively participating in activities that previously the girls really did not want to have a go at, Volleyball!! :-)

The girls were also exceptionally well in Yoga, even surprising themselves being able to do so many poses including the head stand!! Well, it certainly does not just about breathing!!... J With no female teachers in the secondary physical education department at this point of time, a lot of choreography will be copied for the dance.

It certainly was a FUN day at school :-) Looking forward to the next Surfer Girl FUN day, and it could be at your school! :-)
